Maximize Your Savings: 2025 Heat Pump Rebates & Tax Credits
Replacing your HVAC system is a major investment, but the 2025 incentive landscape in Colorado drastically reduces the new heat pump cost. When you choose Avalanche HVAC Services, we help you navigate:
- Federal Tax Credits (25C): Claim up to $2,000 annually off your federal tax bill for a qualified heat pump installation.
- Colorado State Tax Credit: Take advantage of the state’s $1,500 tax credit, often applied as an instant discount through registered contractors.
- Utility Rebates: Xcel Energy and CORE Electric customers may qualify for additional rebates ranging from $500 to over $2,000 for high-efficiency units.
- Income-Qualified Rebates (HEAR): Depending on your household income, you could be eligible for thousands in upfront discounts through the Colorado Energy Office.
Why Replace Your AC with a Cold-Climate Heat Pump?
In the past, heat pumps struggled in the Colorado “Polar Vortex.” However, today’s cold-climate heat pumps are engineered specifically for our high-altitude environment:
- Extreme Cold Performance: Modern units provide 100% heating capacity down to 5°F and continue to operate efficiently even at -13°F.
- Dual-Fuel “Hybrid” Options: We can pair your new heat pump with a high-efficiency gas furnace for the ultimate “best of both worlds” system.
- Enhanced Comfort: Variable-speed technology eliminates the “blast” of hot or cold air, maintaining a steady, perfect temperature throughout your home.
